First dates are always scary stuff, well that just maybe my perception on them you see I haven’t being on a date in over a year and now have one, it sure as hell is daunting with the whole build up to it, choosing the right outfit which sends out the right message, which I still haven’t figured out what it is. Do I want to Ouse sex appeal which says take me right here on the table in front of everyone or the I may be up for some fun but you have to work for it or the one that says no chance tonight sunshine, I choose the second one may as well keep the options open.
The date itself is with a guy I met on an adult dating website, he seems easy to chat to over the computer and looks a really nice guy so time will tell, we are meeting at a local cocktail bar in Watford, so maybe I will relax a bit more once I have a couple of those down my neck, mind I don’t want to go too far and be legless, I somehow think it would be a total turn off plus I would make a complete idiot of myself.
So the date arrived and of course I had butterfly’s in my stomach who wouldn’t, he looked exactly like his picture well almost he did have a bit more weight on him than the picture but hey none of us are perfect so with that I thought let the night commence. Well it commenced very slowly he wasn’t as chatty as he was through emails maybe he was a bit shy but to me it wasn’t quite going to plan so to speak this was definitely not going to work out, I excused myself to go outside for a fag and thought it was my perfect opportunity to ring a friend and tell her I needed an emergency call, I only made it to getting my phone out when a handsome guy asked for a light now this what I was talking about a man who had the gift of the gab and knew how to look at a woman.
He was also on a date from the same site as me and it was also going badly now I had an idea, we could swap partners as the girl he was with just sounded like the man I was with dream girl, so with it agreed we went inside and introduced them to each other and sure enough they hit it off, we on the other hand made our excuses and grabbed a cab the both of us were looking for casual sex which was perfect, so back to mine it was for an evening of sheer delight and enjoyment all round. I even got an email the next day from the guy thanking me for introducing him to such a lovely lady and that they had arranged a date for that night, I was so glad that they both had one another a perfect match if I do say so myself.
