Setting up your own Swingers house party

Since some people don’t necessarily enjoy a crowed swingers club, the idea of throwing your own private swingers party at home can be an appealing one. While a club offers the excitement of meeting new people every time you walk in; a house party has it’s own benefits, such as being able to be selective and only invite the people that you know and enjoy spending time with.

If you’re going to plan a swingers party, you’ll need to consider a lot of the same things that you would when throwing any party since in the end, the goal is the same; for your guests to have fun! You will need to plan out food, music, games and of course any rules that you wish your guests to follow.

Here are some helpful tips to make you the hostess with the mostess at your first swingers house party:

Choose a good mix of males and females: When creating your guest list it is important to think of the man to woman ratio so that there is some balance in terms of people hooking up.

Use games to help break the ice: As some of your guests may not know each other or there could even be someone there who is new to the lifestyle; using games that require interaction is an excellent way to get people mingling and feeling more relaxed.

Set up ‘comfy spaces’: You need to designate certain areas that will be used for play. Use pillows and blankets to make your spaces more comfortable.

Go over the rules: It should go without saying, but gently remind everyone that certain rules and courtesy are a must, such as ‘no means no’, etc.

Monitor the Alcohol: You may not want to be a buzz-kill or make your guests feel as if they are being babysat, but you need to remember that you are responsible for your guests safety. Too much alcohol can lead to confrontations, a lack of better judgment and a loss of life if a guest decides to drive while drunk. Use caution when serving alcohol by outing out as little as possible or even enforcing a no-alcohol rule. It’s your house and you have the right.

Stick to finger foods: The last thing you need is a huge pile of dishes to clean up, a meal to serve or a bunch of full, sleepy guests who had a full course dinner that you cooked before sex! Finger foods and light snacks are best.

Have lots of condoms ready: Your guests will likely be equipped with their own, but have bowls of condoms set up around your play areas. Not only are they great little party favors, but having them handy will help make sure that everyone practices safe sex if they don’t have to run out to their car or sift through a purse.

If you use those tips and keep things simple, you’re a lot more likely to enjoy yourself as the guests enjoy themselves. Keep the mood light and playful, encourage mingling and conversation and have a good time!
